Dr. Whitehead To Speak At Knee Replacement Seminar
Raymond Whitehead, MD, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon in Hattiesburg Clinic’s Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine departments, will be the guest speaker at Forrest General Hospital’s educational seminar on MAKOplasty with the RIO system on March 22 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the FGH board rooms.
Dr. Whitehead is now certified to perform a partial knee resurfacing procedure called MAKOplasty that is designed to relieve the pain caused by osteoarthritis. The MAKOplasty treatment is performed using the RIO Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System.
